Camino Collection: A Journey in Watercolour

In the spring of 2023, I walked the Camino de Santiago alone.

Each day, I carried not just a backpack, but a small set of watercolours. At cafes, by churches, or simply under the open sky, I painted what I saw and felt. These paintings became my companions, my journal, and my healing.

The Camino was more than a pilgrimage—it was a lifeline. During difficult moments of grief, loneliness, and illness, art was my anchor. Even when I was sick with COVID in a small village, I kept painting. One morning, I met a stranger on the trail who later became a dear friend. These moments shaped the works you see here.

Each piece in this collection holds a memory: of rain-soaked mornings, of laughter with fellow pilgrims, of quiet contemplation at sunrise.

This is more than art. It's a story of resilience, beauty, and deep connection—with others, and with myself.
