Why I Paint: Art as a Lifeline

Posted on October 17 2025

Art has always been more than a hobby for me — it’s been a lifeline. In my darkest moments, when I felt overwhelmed or alone, I turned to art. Creating gave me light. It gave me purpose. In a very real way, art saved my life.

I’ve always found comfort in fine detail — gluing tiny dots of photo paper onto watercolor, working for hours without noticing time pass. That process, that quiet focus, has grounded me through everything. It’s why I create. It’s how I heal.

Each of my collections carries part of that journey. They’re not just images — they’re emotions, memories, fragments of real life captured in color and shape.
